How to give your bedding a proper wash
You know that you should be washing your bed sheets regularly. But how should one wash their bedding?
Here’s a list of things you should do to make sure that you are giving your sheets a proper wash:
- Read instructions on the label
Most of the times, the labels on the inside of your sheets will contain all the information you need.
Our easy zip bed sheets can be washed in a washing machine. Make sure Always wash the top sheets and mattress protector detached (not zipped together).
- Wash on a hot setting
Polyester blends are best washed using warm water, while cotton can endure hot water. Hot water can help kill most of the germs and also take care of dust mites.
- Wash bed sheets regularly
We spend 1/3rd of our lives in bed. Then why not wash the bedding more often? Our easy to use zip on bed sheets can be washed regularly, and they should typically be washed once a week.
- Drying
Hang sheets to dry instead of tumble drying them, if possible. It will help in durability of the bed sheets.
- Ironing
If you can iron your bed linen, do it. Even a steam iron is fine. Ironing helps kills the last of the germs and it also looks tidy in bed!
- Storing
Keep fresh bed sheets in a cool dry place.
